Two men, living very different lives, are forced to become unlikely partners: one, a corporate consultant mourning the murder of his new bride; the other, a former CIA agent known only as Pilgrim. When they are thrown together in a violent, unexpected event, they realize that they’ve been framed in an elaborate setup. Unsure who to trust, they have no choice but to work together.
Set in 1936 against a backdrop of civil war in Spain and the privations of the Depression at home, Rough Justice follows the lives, loves and losses of the Flanagans, the Tanners and the Lovells. All three families live on the top floor of the crumbling Turnbury Buildings - a Spartan Victorian dwelling close to the docks in London's East End.
