The right to dignity for all is recognized in Canadian law but many individuals and groups have been excluded from the concern and respect they deserve. Among these groups are members of the disabled community, marginalized by a society that neglects to recognize their needs and merits as individuals. Identified here are the barriers and the factors needed to reverse this exclusion.
